Fuel prices do not change…for the moment

The rise in fuel prices this year caused much discontent among Mexicans. Another increase was planned for February, but the government has postponed this for a couple of weeks.

A report in Expansion said that the Mexican government postponed the price adjustment until next February 18. This decision means lower revenues for the state, but the Secretary of Finance said it does not affectpublic finances.

The price of gasoline magna, premium and diesel will remain at MXN$15.99, MXN$17.99, MXN$17.05 per liter respectively.
